eSIM Guide for Nigeria

Planning to use an eSIM in Nigeria? Use this guide to check device compatibility, coverage and allowances before choosing a MartX global plan.

Start with destination coverage

For a trip to Lagos, Abuja or another Nigerian destination, confirm the supported local networks and the places on your itinerary. Coverage labels do not guarantee reception in every indoor or rural location.

MartX currently lists Discover+ global packages. This guide does not represent a separate local-country plan or guarantee that every listed package covers your destination. Confirm coverage for the exact package and ask support if the information is unclear.

Keep your usual SIM available if you rely on your existing Nigerian number for bank messages. A travel eSIM does not move that number to a new plan.

What to check before purchasing

  • Your phone supports eSIM and is not locked against the networks you need.
  • The package includes your destination and enough data for your trip.
  • You understand when its validity starts and when it expires.
  • Calling, SMS and any included number match your needs; these are separate from data.
  • You can access the installation instructions and a reliable connection when setting up.

Choose and install your plan

Browse the global eSIM packages, choose a plan and set the quantity. You can combine eSIMs with gift cards in your cart and review the full cost before payment. After delivery, open My eSIMs in your account for the available installation details.

Keep installation details private and follow the instructions for your device. If activation fails, contact support before deleting the eSIM profile, as reinstalling it may require provider assistance.
